Renting in Perugia

· Sant’Orsola) Sant’Orsola is a former 12th century Benedictine Badia (or abbey) set in fields of golden sunflowers with views across the rolling Umbrian hills. The property is a perfect oasis of tranquilly with its many different living spaces, pool, lawns, terraces, grape covered pergolas, and gardens. The house has been carefully renovated respecting the many original features such as the classic beamed ceilings and terracotta floors.

The house and grounds are so inviting here you and your family and friends may never want to leave, but if you do, the best of Italy awaits you just outside the gates of Sant’Orsola.  It is just south of Lago Trasimeno and Perugia in Schiavo di Marsciano. It is a short drive one direction to neighboring Deruta famous for its ceramics and a few minutes the other direction brings you to ancient Todi high on its hills. Assisi is of course very nearby and not very far at all is lovely lovely Orvieto home to a splendid cathedral full of Luca Signorelli’s best work – and, of course, Umbria Jazz Inverno over the winter holidays.
